Authentication

Every API request must be authenticated using an API key tied to a Platform.

Creating a Platform & API key

  1. Log in and go to your Dashboard → Platforms
  2. Create a new Platform (e.g. "Twilio" or "My SMS Bot")
  3. Click Generate API Key
  4. Copy the key immediately — it is shown only once

Sending the key

Include the key in the Authorization header with a Bearer prefix, or as the X-API-Key header:

Option A — Bearer token
Authorization: Bearer vn_live_<your_secret>
Option B — X-API-Key
X-API-Key: vn_live_<your_secret>
Security: API keys grant full message delivery access for their Platform. Treat them like passwords. Revoke compromised keys immediately from the dashboard.
